UCLA Student Affairs is an organization that focuses on promoting student community and student life through story-telling in digital content.
I was responsibile for leading the design team within Student Affairs. I managed design tasks within different departments and coordinated collaborating with various UCLA organizations.
Programs used: InDesign & Procreate.
I used the architecture of UCLA’s Kerckhoff building as inspiration to reflect the brand of UCLA. A total of 4,000 calendars were printed and distributed to UCLA students for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Programs used: InDesign & Procreate.
With a "Where's Waldo?" inspiration, we wanted UCLA students to be able to find Joe Bear, the school's mascot. This time, a more fun and interactive calendar for students. 5,000 calendars were printed and distributed.
Programs used: InDesign & Procreate.
The Spring 2022 calendar focused more on UCLA's brand of blue and yellow as the branding colors and the bear as their mascot. I used purple for a more neutral yet spring color. For the Spring 2025 calendar, I used bright vibrant colors to reflect the ocean.
Programs used: InDesign.
I designed the Pre-law Series flyer for UCLA Career Center. Focusing on UCLA brand colors, I wanted to create a piece where the information was clear and accessible.
I redesigned UCLA’s Case Management Services bookmark to create a cleaner look while still including diversity, community, and branding.
To make sure the bookmark was still accessible, I included icons and turned the information into bullet points so it was easier to read.
Tasked to recreate the UCLA Community Website thumbnail with a more modern, UCLA brand, I used Procreate to visualize this concept. For each season and quarter of the school year, I wanted to include bits and pieces of UCLA but not overwhelm the piece.
Programs used: Procreate
Every Wednesday, I design and post a themed wallpaper on UCLA Student Affairs’ social media accounts to celebrate school spirit and engage the student community. These weekly graphics highlight UCLA branding, seasonal events, and creative visuals to promote pride in campus life.
